PALS, Inc. is a leading provider of services for adults with intellectual disabilities with locations in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties. Our specialty at PALS Carpinteria is working with fun adults who also have Autism.
We are presently seeking a young professional who wants to assume a leadership position, as House or "Facility" Manager, reporting to the Administrator of the adult residential facility, PALS La Jolla Place, in Carpinteria, and who is ready to learn how to identify, chart, and work with a variety of behavioral challenges; a professional who is able to learn and model effective communications strategies, learn how to help people cope with life challenges, and support people's growth with step-by-step planning and achievement; and a professional who is able to assist in scheduling staffing for the home, and generally support a high quality of services.
This leadership role of House or "Facility" Manager, is a split shift format and may be negotiated as a full-time, salary, or hourly depending on conditions. Role shall call for being onsite Monday thru Friday 6 AM - 9 AM, and return 2 - 6 PM. This position is principally critical to supporting residents to get up and go to program during the day, and to ensure that there is a smooth return home each day, with proper meal preparations and resident involvement in routine, personalized, and unique opportunities and activities in the home and community.
