Highly robust compensation package which includes 100% employer paid health care for the employee (based on core plan - Gold PPO plan with an option to buy up for Platinum PPO) and 80% for dependents, employer paid dental and vision for employee and dependents, 401(k) with employer match up to 8%, STD, LTD, and life insurance $200,000 with potential increase to $400,000 paid by employer (1x annual salary).
Key A&P Mechanic Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage airplane maintenance for Falcon 900EX located in Boca Raton, FL. Inspects, services and repairs airplane to ensure safe operation. The Aircraft Manager is responsible for making sure airplane receives routine and unscheduled maintenance such as avionics, engine’s, landing gear, flight controls and hydraulic systems using special and calibrated tooling to perform inspections and operational tests. Must know, understand, and follow all FAA regulations and guidelines. Keep detailed records of the inspection performed, repairs, maintenance procedures, and parts ordered. Plan, schedule, and oversee calendar and hourly inspections with repair stations and approve squawks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
• 5 years minimum experience with corporate jet maintenance, inspections, record keeping, plus engine run and experience in aircraft
• Strong Avionics and electrical background plus troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and utilize engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, IPC, AFM and other maintenance documents.
• Willing to be available 24/7 and be onsite for all departures and arrivals
• Preferred Dassault Falcon 900EX airframe experience.
• Preferred familiarity with CAMP and Avianis
Education & Training:
• Current A & P Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience; preferably for Dassault/Falcon
• Strong mechanical ability
• Dassault factory training
• Must have own tools
