Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher in social work or related field; or minimum of five years of experience in related field.
- Have strong leadership skills.
- Must be comfortable writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media.
- Ability to understand financial documents, including budgets, cash flow, income statements, and balance statements. Collaboration with Treasurer on tax returns and audits.
- Experience with property management.
- Must have no criminal background.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Possess a valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
General Responsibilities include:
- Leadership: clearly articulate the vision, mission, philosophy, and strategic direction of PPTHC. Build alignment across the organization ensuring staff is on the same page, collaborate with Board of Directors to evaluate the effectiveness and direction of the Strategic Plan.
- Board Engagement: Work with the Board of Directors in order to fulfill the mission of PPTHC. Create monthly meeting reports to present at monthly board meetings.
- Financial Performance and Viability: Develops resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization. Establish and maintain donor program, research and apply for grants, secure sponsorships, assist in developing and implementing a fundraising plan, execute fundraising events, collaborate with Treasurer to develop budget.
- Organizational Operations: Oversees and implements the program's goals and objectives developed by PPTHC Board to ensure the success of the organization's mission. Hiring, training, and supervision of new staff, navigate inquiry phone calls, ensure maintenance of facilities, and other responsibilities deemed necessary by the Board.
- Community Relations: Expand and maintain strong relationships with Montgomery County among peers, donors, industry associates, with the media and more. Update website and social media accounts, design and produce printed material such as newsletter, brochures, etc, establish and coordinate new volunteers, arrange for pick up of donated items.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Assure that PPTHC is operating in compliance with all laws and regulations.
