SUMMARY
The Banking Systems Administrator maintains and supports the company’s applications that are used by front line and back-office staff. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years banking of banking experience.
They are responsible for ensuring that all banking systems and applications are operating efficiently, securely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role focuses primarily on Jack Henry System Applications and Lending, Accounting, Human Resources systems that serve all bank offices. Specific software experience is a plus but not required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and KEY CHARACTERISTICS
· Maintains / modifies the configuration of all Jack Henry applications utilized by the Bank, Including the management of release updates, new product configurations, troubleshooting and enhancements to existing projects.
· Creates, Reviews, and tracks the ticketing process for all Jack Henry and other banking applications.
· Works with the internal ticketing system for all Bank facing applications (Laser Pro, Cognos, Synergy, etc.). Information Technology managed applications such as Lansweeper, Active Directory, Firewall Applications etc. are not governed by this position.
· Acts as a liaison between departments for systems application integration, implementation, and the rollout of new products, updates, and services.
· Develops and shares vendor provided training documentation for updated and new systems.
· Works with the Information Technology Department to ensure security and connectivity for all devices utilizing bank managed applications.
· Participates in quality assurance testing for new products and services to ensure they are functioning correctly prior to rollout.
· Participates in semi-annual access control review of all applications that they are responsible for in coordination with the Information Security Officer.
· Builds Cognos reports for all departments of the bank when requested and provides monthly reports to Systems Officer for all banking systems, user access control, etc.
· Works closely with Systems Officer and AVP of Deposit OPS to develop continued efficiency in Lockbox processing using SQL scripts, automation tools, updated processing features, and investigations into future vendor relationships.
· Primary developer of Enterprise Workflow processes for all departments of the bank. This includes but is not limited to creating procedures, building workflows, and regular maintenance of workflows.
· Delivers a high-quality client experience focusing on solutions, proper follow-up, and the ability to communicate technical information and training materials to non-technical personnel.

· Takes initiative for self-development and proactively learns news systems or helps to innovate existing ones to ensure continuous growth.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Experience with document cold storage systems including Synergy
- Experience with SQL databases and working with SQL Reporting Services is a plus.
- Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, or similar programs is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, and Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, Power Query).
- Experience with Automation Products such as Power Automate or similar programs.
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to set and track priorities
- Ongoing desire to learn new technologies
- Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems
- Jack Henry Silverlake experience is a plus.
- 3 years of Banking application experience is required
