Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Reception & Scheduling:
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and verify patient information.
- Confirm appointments and follow up on cancellations or reschedules.
- Medical Record Management:
- Ensure all patient information is accurately entered, updated, and maintained in compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA).

Insurance Verification & Billing Support:
- Verify patient insurance details.
- Collect co-pays and assist with billing inquiries or issues.
- Communication:
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking detailed messages.
- Respond to patient portal messages in a timely and courteous manner.
- Administrative Support:
- Prepare and manage patient intake forms, consent forms, and other documentation.
- Assist with inventory management for office supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Coordination with Medical Staff:

Requirements:
- Experience:
- Proven experience working as a medical receptionist, preferably in a dermatology or medical office setting.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (experience with Medent is a plus).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to multitask.
