Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper and Order Processing Coordinator performs corporate and administrative assignments for the company including but not limited to bookkeeping, the accurate processing of customer orders, providing estimates, maintaining communication with customers and suppliers, responsible for incoming and outgoing orders (via email, EDI, web-based, etc.), inventory management, invoice generation, and shipping/receiving documentation. This role will reconcile differences in the accounting system (QuickBooks), identify operational efficiencies and cost savings, and support leadership as needed to coordinate special projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Support accounting activities to include credit card entry and analysis, assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Support corporate sales office in processing orders and returns, shipping product, providing customer services

· Alignment with CFO and Accounting Manager to drive efficiency and lower expenses

· Support Company growth initiatives

· Ensure compliance with all Company policies & procedures

· Perform the purchasing activities for the business and corporate headquarters

Experience and Education:

  • Associate Degree in business, logistics and accounting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, operations, accounting, purchasing, and distribution
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office Suite including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledgeable of QuickBooks or other Accounting software
  • Demonstrated experience within a customer-focused environment.

  • Proven experience in the bookkeeping and customer service
  • Independent thinker and creative problem solver
  • Organized, Detailed-oriented, Reliable and dependable and a strong desire to grow with a company

Physical Demands and Requirements:

  • Will be required to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Good hand/eye coordination and full range of motion in upper body

Job Type:Part-time working up to full time, no less than 30 hours per week.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
