We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Program Manager, PECNA Development for workforce development & community engagement initiatives that strengthen external partnerships, enhance workforce development programs, and drive community engagement efforts. This role will play a key part in aligning cross functional business objectives with external affairs, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure impactful outcomes. The Manager will be based in Kansas and will report to PNA Government Affairs.

The wage range of $100,000 - $115,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Program Management and Execution
- Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic plans by providing insights into external trends and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between external affairs activities and business objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
- Work with partners to identify workforce needs and develop strategies to address skill gaps.
- Engage with community leaders and stakeholders to understand workforce challenges and opportunities.
- Organize and lead community outreach events and workshops to promote workforce development programs and resources.
- Develop and manage dashboards and scorecards to track internal and external activities.
- Measure the effectiveness of workforce development programs using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Use data and feedback to refine and improve program offerings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and needs.
- Communicate and coordinate with external partners to advance workforce development initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
Basic Qualifications
- Work as part of the PNA Government Affairs and Communications teams to support community outreach and government affairs in Kansas on behalf of Panasonic Energy.
- Bachelors Degree in Public Affairs, Business, Workforce Development, Market, Public Relations or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in program management, workforce development, or external affairs.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental stewardship.
- Proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams and building partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of community dynamics, local government structures, and stakeholder engagement.
