Maintenance Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:
- Overseeing onsite maintenance team
- Working closely with Property Manager and onsite management team
- Providing leadership and guidance to foster a productive team environment and achieve property maintenance goals
- Providing effective training to new maintenance staff members
- Delivering professional, quality services to residents and responding to service requests in a timely manner
- Adhering to all applicable codes and standards and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Providing effective maintenance management throughout all areas of the property
- Controlling inventory, ordering and delivery of approved supplies and equipment
- Performing various community maintenance services relating to plumbing repair, appliance repair, minor electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Managing apartment turnover process for efficient resident move-ins
- Completing all required inspections
- Establishing effective relationships with vendors and partners to maximize quality of service to residents and meet budgeting objectives
- Managing staffing schedule to ensure 24/7 emergency coverage
What Were Looking for in a Candidate:
- Great people skills and a desire to provide residents an exceptional residential experience through superior in-person service and quality maintenance management
- Thoughtful leadership skills to foster a supportive and productive onsite team environment
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of leadership experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
- A strong working knowledge of all aspects of multi-family property maintenance
- HVAC experience and certification or willingness to obtain
- Proven experience managing staff and multiple projects
- Experience with working in various digital platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and various industry-related software platforms.
- Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Ability to maintain a can do attitude to ensure the propertys success
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays in an emergency situation
- Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
