What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, National Accounts position at Pandion Optimization Alliance?
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
The Manager, National Accounts, is responsible for managing relationships with assigned accounts in the Women’s Health Care space. This includes ensuring smooth contract administration, maintaining accurate data, identifying growth opportunities within contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value and meet sales targets. This role serves as the key liaison between Pandion and its members to facilitate efficient contract execution and member satisfaction. Travel to member locations, both local and domestic, is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at healthcare facilities or other member businesses to understand their needs and priorities.
- Proactively communicate with members to maintain positive partnerships and member satisfaction.
- Educate new and existing members about Pandion’s product portfolio and value proposition.
- Connect with new and existing members in person, telephone, electronic communication, and/orTeams/Zoom meetings.
Customer Service:
- Responds to member and vendor day-to-day issues in a timely manner (within 24 to 48 hours). Ensure members are onboarded in an expeditious and professional manner.
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of member contracts, ensuring accurate pricing, product availability, and adherence to contractual terms.
Sales & Growth:
- Identify potential new revenue opportunities with new and existing member contracts.
- Develop strategies to increase product utilization and drive sales growth consistent to yearly KPI’s through targeted initiatives.
- Immediately follow-up with members after monthly target marketing campaigns.
- Perform daily entry of tasks, actions, and information into Salesforce.
Market Awareness:
- Stay aware of the updated GPO landscape, industry trends, and competitor activity to identify strategic opportunities and potential challenges in the Women’s Health Care space.
Other:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration or nursing is preferred but not required.
- Must have experience working in a clinical health care setting; experience in the Women’s health care space is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GPO operations, clinical purchasing, contracting processes, and the healthcare industry dynamics is preferred.
- Proven experience in account management, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools to manage customer interactions and track performance.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and identify opportunities for growth is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- This job operates in a professional office environment when not traveling. During travel may be exposed to the outdoor elements.
- This is largely a sedentary role, but travel will be required. This would require the ability to see, hear, lift, bend, sit or stand, as necessary. Must be able to use and manipulate normal office tools, converse effectively via written and oral correspondence (especially the telephone), sit for prolonged periods of time, move/travel to other locations.

Salary : $64,900 - $82,000
