Drafter- Revit Experience
MUST HAVE REVIT EXPERIENCE!
SUMMARY
Supports Engineering team by operating Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system, including creating, updating and modifying structure designs and performing manual drafting.
MUST HAVE REVIT EXPIERENCE!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
3. Creates (and/or modifies) CAD drawings for engineering projects.
4. Creates custom packages of engineering support for customers to include (but not limited to); approval of drawings, fabrication of drawings, material specifications and assigning Bill of Materials (BOM).
5. Provides on-site Customer Service Support as needed for hands on engineering expertise.
6. Provides detailed installation drawings and descriptions for non-engineering personnel.
7. Conducts required research for permit requirements as needed.
8. Impromptu travel as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

3. General knowledge of CAD and manual drafting principles, practices, methods, techniques, and engineering principles.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication; read and interpret construction drawings; prepare accurate detailed drawings from data supplied from sketches.
5. Operate computer using standard drafting (CAD) software.
6. Maintain effective, readily accessible files and records of office reports.
7. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and outside vendors/customers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
1. Ability to add, subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
2. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights and measurements.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, CAD, File Maker Pro, Outlook, Spreadsheets,
Graphs and E-mail
REASONING ABILITY
1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex instructions.
2. Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.
