We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our clients’ close-knit and supportive team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Tax Partner, engaging directly with clients and taking a hands-on approach to managing their tax needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing firm, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the success of thriving businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients
- Collaborate with the Tax Partner to address complex tax matters
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor
- Assist with compliance, audits, and other client tax needs as required
- Stay updated on tax regulations and identify opportunities to optimize tax positions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- 2 years of tax experience, ideally in public accounting or a client-facing role
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
