We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our client’s energetic and forward-thinking finance team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity in their accounting processes while working closely with a supportive team that values collaboration and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of the company’s operations and the flow of transactions
- Timely and accurately prepare and review journal entries for financial statements
- Conduct balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and perform related analysis
- Ensure accurate accounting classifications for the income statement, with meticulous attention to detail
- Effectively summarize, analyze, and present financial reports in a clear and impactful manner
- Maintain strict compliance with internal controls over financial reporting
- Approach project requests with creativity and exceptional attention to detail, ensuring innovative solutions
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement to enhance the efficiency and sophistication of the accounting function
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
