About the Role :
The Director of People Operations will lead all HR-related processes, reporting, and operations to create a seamless and positive experience for our employees. This role is responsible for managing the Workday system, overseeing payroll, benefits, compliance, 401(k) administration, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) due diligence, leave of absence (LOA) management, and vendor relationships. You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to implement and maintain efficient HR operations and ensure the overall well-being of our employees. You will also lead and develop a People Ops Specialist who will report directly to you.
Day to Day :
- Oversee all HR operations including Workday administration, payroll processing, benefits management, compliance, and reporting.
- Administer and manage company-wide benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
- Lead due diligence and integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions from an HR perspective.
- Manage leave of absence (LOA) policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Maintain and optimize HR systems, particularly Workday, ensuring data integrity and efficient workflows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR vendors and manage contracts and agreements.
- Lead all employee relations issues including terminations, grievances and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations globally.
- Create and analyze HR reports and metrics to inform leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with the HR team to design and implement total rewards programs that attract and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture by championing employee well-being and engagement initiatives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop an HR Specialist, providing guidance and support to help them grow.

Pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
