We are seeking an Office Administrator who will be responsible for managing day to day operations of the office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing equipment, office services and facilities.
- Reviewing vendor proposals and contracts.
- Assisting attorneys in managing use of support staff.
- Managing all stages of the hiring process and recruitment to termination.
- Regular communication with management regarding HR and administrative issues.
- Administers payroll & employee benefits.
- Performs some accounting functions including month-end and year-end reports.
- Works with IT and software support providers to ensure smooth functioning of all hardware and software.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of office management or human resources experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and concisely.
- Ability to problem-solve and take initiative.
- Ability to maintain confidential records.
- Must be proactive, not reactive; make the effort to anticipate a situation in advance to either prepare for it or prevent it.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with a legal office a benefit, but not required.
Pay determined upon qualifications and ability. Hours: 8:30-5 pm Monday- Friday.
