The Position:
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Vice President of Platform Operations will focus on scaling our functional operations teams by strategically planning, organizing, and directing enterprise level functions and ensuring exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in operational leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional team management. This role will be a member of and partner with the Executive Leadership team to develop and implement the platform’s operational strategic direction and is accountable for ensuring effective operations in support of organizational goals and for scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the planning and development of the organization’s objectives and initiatives related to platform/enterprise operations.
- Develops strategies and oversees the execution of plans to attain short and long term financial and mission-critical operational goals.
- Directs the development of the organization’s functional capacity that will produce sustainable growth and minimize risk; advises other executives of best practices operational strategies.
- Works closely with the CFO to monitor budgets, manage resources efficiently, and drive financial performance.
- Establishes effective operational policies and procedures and ensures execution by leading a team of operations leaders.
- Analyzes internal data and market dynamics to implement innovative strategies that drive growth.
- Oversee process improvements and drive operational excellence across role scope.
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of operational efficiencies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, physicians, employees, and vendors.
- Serves on Executive Compliance Committee and ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Performance/Skills Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and driving a high-performance culture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, leverage data, and make informed decisions.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and financial statements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and embraces change as an opportunity for growth.
- Proven track record of strong leadership, physician relationships, and driving execution.
Education/Certifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an executive operations role in healthcare.
- Optometry or ophthalmology experience preferred.
Additional Job Details:
- The position is based in Denver, CO.
- Compensation for this role will be $220,000- $275,000 annually, this role is bonus eligible.
- Travel between clinic locations and in support of growth opportunities is required.
