What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bike Park Trail Crew (Summer) position at Panorama Mountain Resort?
Description:
The Bike Park Trail Crew is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the bike trails at Panorama Mountain Village. They will ensure all trails are kept to the highest safety standard for our guests and staff. They are expected to work outdoors all day in differing weather conditions.
Essential Functions:
Operate equipment including chain saws, ATVs, 4X4 truck, and various other hand tools as required.
Maintain and store equipment as required in a safe manner.
Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Complete assigned tasks as required.
Maintain job site in safe working condition.
Ensure all trails have enough signage and are clearly marked.
Interact with guests and staff as required to create a memorable experience.
Assist with lift evacuation (training to be provided)
Any other duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements:
Must have strong mountain bike riding skills.
Must have working experience and certification in chain saw use.
Must have valid BC driver’s license.
Must have excellent physical fitness.
First aid certification is an asset.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary : $19
