Slopes Maintenance (Summer)

Description: Summer Slopes Maintenance Crew are responsible for maintenance on snowmaking equipment, pumpstations, trail maintenance and snowmaking setup.  There is a wide range on mountain work, accessible by 4x4, ATV and on foot.   Essential Functions: Operate ATVs and trucks Operate excavators and telehandlers Operate chainsaws and brush saws Test and repair snowmaking guns and hoses Test and repair snowmaking hydrants Maintain access roads and ski trails Work and interact with other departments as required. Setup of snowmaking equipment Perform maintenance and provide record keeping of all snowmaking equipment and snowmaking infrastructure.   Experience/Requirements: Experience/Requirements: Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Proficient time management and communication ability Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability Valid driver’s license Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous snowmaking experience is an asset Previous machinery experience is an asset
