Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as product manager for the 401k benefit administration technology, configuring and monitoring system to ensure accurate system setup along with incorporating new benefit offerings and enhancements as needed
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefit enrollments in the HRIS, providing vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Manages ongoing benefit reporting requests, crafting and maintaining benefits best practice “playbook”
- Assists with New Hire Orientations related to benefit specific content, education and onboarding, along with proactive communication and education of benefit offerings to key audiences across the company
- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data on a routine cadence
- Assists employees regarding benefits questions, leveraging service excellence and ARC method
- Serves as liaison to HRBPs and business for401k administration in strong partnership with 3 rd party vendor
- Responds to 401k inquiries, manages enrollment, audits, terminations and payroll deductions
- Assists with the Benefits Open Enrollment process and communications, along with providing thought partnership on benefit offerings and approach
- Provides necessary reports for the carrier invoicing reconciliation in a timely manner
- Regularly conducts audits of benefit packages and policies to ensure compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in a Benefits Consultant, Benefit Manager or similar role.
- Experience in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and customer advocacy.
- Strong analytical and system skills.
- Ability to make informal and formal presentations, inside and outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed.
- Project and team skills and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
