Position Summary
We are seek ing an experienced and compassionate Homecare Manager with and indsustry/health care experiece to join our team. As the manager, you will be pivotal in elevating care quality, supporting caregivers, and ensuring that clients and their families experience the highest level of care. This role reports directly to the COO and collaborates with field supervisors and schedulers.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in homecare/ healthcare/ senior care or long-term care and a strong background in dementia care. You’ll lead in developing innovative care solutions and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight:
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Collaborate with external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive client support.
- Act as a resource for managing medically acute situations and maintaining compliance with care standards.
Client and Caregiver Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with care services.
- Deliver training programs for caregivers on dementia care best practices.
- Lead efforts to recruit, onboard, and retain high-quality caregivers aligned with Pansy Homecare’s mission and values.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Conduct regular care audits, including field visits, to ensure adherence to high-quality care standards.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, including client satisfaction, caregiver retention, and compliance audits.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
Operational Leadership:
- Monitor caregiver performance, optimize scheduling, and enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage payroll and billing.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in long-term care, healthcare management, or homecare leadership.
- Strong background in supporting individuals with cognitive impairments (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer’s).
- Proven ability to develop and implement care plans.
- Additional certifications in dementia care or healthcare management.
- Experience with caregiver recruitment, training, and retention.
