Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a candidate with knowledge and experience in Configuration Management, preferably with Coast Guard, DHS or DoD experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform project strategy and planning activities.
- Background in Hard Asset Management in relation to USCG.
- Engage in systems engineering activities (including requirements traceability and DOORS).
- Participate in Program Knowledge Management activities.
- Development of documents to support Acquisition Decision Events in accordance with the Major Systems Acquisition Manual COMDTINST M5000.10D, including briefs, reports, and acquisition program management plans. Development includes drafting, technical editing, coordination of document review, compilation and adjudication of comments, version tracking and routing for signature.
- Support in Configuration Planning, Configuration Identification, and Control; support the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive CM program; support the development of metrics; participate in working group meetings to develop and update documents; support CM audits and data calls and support the planning and execution of all Configuration Management Boards (CMB) for the program.
- Assist with preparing briefs and presentations for internal USCG directorates and commands as well as external USCG entities. Briefs and presentations are recurrent in nature.
- Organize and maintain the electronic documents stored on the USCG provided SharePoint site as well as archived on different servers.
- Orchestrated monthly status reports which summarize key monthly statistics such as deliverables completed; as well as predicting and preparing for upcoming deliverables for Logics, Engineering, Configuration Management, and Program Management groups in order to provide to deputy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree.
- Three (3)-five (5) years of demonstrated experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, organized and a good problem solver.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Documented experience administering and maintaining a Naval or USCG shipbuilding program within the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center.
- A Microsoft SharePoint Certification and experience with a similar SharePoint based systems engineering tool.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location
Hybrid - Washington D.C.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $74,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
