Position Overview
Pantheon is seeking a Project Manager with a background guiding and maintaining government IT/software projects. A successful candidate will have a history of proven management of small to mid-sized government consulting projects. The candidate should have impeccable attention to detail and extensive knowledge of government deliverables, budgets, customer expectation management, and project schedules. A successful candidate will also be able to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with government clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational management of assigned projects or tasks.
- Collaborate with project manager and stakeholders to establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Build and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverable timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
- Lead the project wide communications to improve transparency and external communications such as social media posts.
- Manage project documentation, including project management plans, status reports, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
- Strong time management to ensure meetings are done efficiently and within time box.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and Government.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal, external, and Government meetings with clear agendas and keep the meetings on track.
- Track the onboarding of new team members, providing company and project specific system access and Common Access Card (CAC) enrollment.
- Provide effective risk management through identification, escalation, mitigation, and effective resolution of issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Government and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and drive improvements to maximize operational efficiency.
- Perform other tasks deemed appropriate for this role as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years professional experience with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hardworking team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership and Government.
- Experience with Project Management tools, such as Jira, Trello, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in Government IT industries, Navy a plus
- Experience with the Agile software development methodology
- Experience in technical writing, internal communications, and marketing
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location- United States Remote

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $175,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
