- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely, including the use of pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process.
- Assist with moving items as needed during deliveries, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is a plus.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is beneficial.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift safely is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on professionalism and communication.
