Duties

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, ensuring all items are properly stored after washing.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.
• Support kitchen staff during busy periods by helping with basic food service tasks and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours, particularly during banquets or large events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on helping others in the culinary and hospitality fields.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
