Position Overview:


In this new & engaging role, the Paid Search Media Manager champions Papa Murphys commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by:


  • Developing and executing comprehensive national paid search strategies and plans to meet business goals and KPIs.
  • Including platform, budget & high-level strategic recommendations as well as a test roadmap.
  • Strategic plan clearly defined to drive incremental transactions and customers utilizing both brand and nonbrand keywords.
  • Requires a seamless execution of evergreen and promotional campaigns.
  • Managing day-to-day operations of google paid search campaigns, including account setup, keyword research, ad creation, bidding strategies, A/B testing and landing page optimization.
  • Including audience research/strategies, geo-targeting, best-practice campaign configuration, implementation, monitoring, optimizations and reporting.
  • Including management & allocation of the paid search media budget to ensure optimal spend and maximum results.
  • Including remarketing, PMAX and demand-gen campaigns in addition to traditional paid search
  • Providing proactive updates, creating detailed reports and corresponding analysis, to identify opportunity areas.
  • There will be a large emphasis on A/B testing, creative optimization and driving sales performance.
  • Optimizing campaigns to increase ROI and improve overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Supporting local teams across the nation with strategic guidance as needed
  • Monitoring Google/industry trends and emerging platforms, as well as staying on top of changes in in the paid search landscape.
  • Putting this into practice by innovating and suggesting creative ways to enhance campaign performance using new features and updates.4
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies & user experience across channels.
  • Working with internal creative, digital and brand team members to determine creative production needs and best practices.
  • Working with other paid media team members to cohesively plan & executive successful paid media campaigns.
  • Working with analytics teams to carry out incremental transaction and attribution modeling
  • Serving as main POC and company representative with Google.

  • Salary range: $80,000-$90,000. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.

What you bring to the table:


  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful Google paid search, PMAX & demand gen campaigns that drive significant conversions and revenue growth.
  • Experience with multi-location franchise businesses preferred.
  • Experience with visit-tracking preferred.
  • Experience with Bing Ads preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and/or other digital analytics tools preferred.
  • Google Ads Certified.
  • Familiarity with other parts of Google Ads including 1P data integrations, Beta tests, Business Manager including audiences, datasets and lift studies.
  • Experience with third-party management platforms (i.e. Kenshoo, Google Search Ads 360, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of acquisition funnel, performance marketing KPIs, and profitability levers.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, ability to work independently & collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, pro-active, self-starter.
  • Comfortable working in excel & manipulating data.
  • Skills/experience that are not required but would set you apart: SEO, 1p Data platforms, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, YouTube, display/programmatic/CTV


Foundations of your career:


  • 5 years experience in paid search advertising, with at least 2 years in a strategic role
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced certifications in Google Ads, paid search advertising or digital marketing are a plus.
