RVT Veterinary Hospital Manager

General Practice/Urgent Care – Culver City, Los Angeles, CA

Our hospital is close to 4000 square feet with spacious lobby designed for comfort of those waiting, urgent care triage, dental suite and a surgery suite, a doctor’s office, and spacious break room for staff to put up their feet. Duties and Responsibilities:

• In partnership with the Medical Director and/or veterinarians, develop strategic plan and execute interventions to ensure hospital will meet its budgetary and operational goals.
• Manage hospital schedule to best align client needs and financial diligence.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop hospital support staff.
• Foster an environment of responsibility and resilience.
• Hold regular staff meetings to keep staff informed, provide relevant training, and allow for team feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Create a positive environment where employees feel empowered and supported.
• Ensure team delivers quality and empathetic service to clients and patients.
• Manage hospital’s administrative duties including but not limited to: payroll, accounts payable, inventory, and accounts receivable.
• Execute local marketing strategy.
• Flex working schedule to cross over with all support staff, including working as a technician when patient flow and staffing levels require.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Our ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:

• RVT Licensure
• Management experience with P&L responsibility preferred minimum of one year
• Experience leading a team in veterinary industry
• Ability and desire to work in an ever-changing environment
• Previous Veterinary experience required, including previous experience as a veterinary technician

Salary: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule: 40-hour week

Work Location: In person
