Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves and ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in retail sales with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
- Ability to effectively upsell products while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with product demonstrations and engaging customers effectively.
- Strong supervisory skills to lead a team when necessary.
