Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to clients looking to purchase vehicles. You will utilize your sales skills and knowledge of the automotive industry to build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the purchasing process. This position requires a proactive approach to upselling and managing a sales pipeline effectively.
We are in the process of opening new locations in the surrounding areas and will be looking for the top performers that can move into a management role. You will need to have the drive and experience to lead a competitive team. You will also need to be able to push your team to meet/ exceed the goals for that location.
Duties
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their vehicle needs.
- Conduct cold calling to generate leads and follow up on potential sales opportunities.
- Utilize dealership software to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.
- Provide detailed information about vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
- Assist customers in test-driving vehicles and demonstrate their features.
- Upsell additional products and services that enhance the customer’s purchase experience.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups with potential buyers.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, dealership inventory, and competitor offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within a dealership or automotive environment.
- Strong upselling skills with the ability to identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems for effective customer management.
- Excellent math skills for calculating financing options and payment plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and maintain an efficient sales pipeline.
- Experience in sales support roles is beneficial for understanding customer needs better.
- A proactive attitude towards cold calling and generating new business opportunities.
