Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a vibrant Pub environment. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and providing excellent service in both fine dining and banquet settings.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events and banquets.
- Manage inventory by tracking supplies, ordering stock as needed, and minimizing waste.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to enhance guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, brewing methods, and beverage pairings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order management is advantageous.
- A strong sense of salesmanship to promote featured drinks or specials effectively.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
