You will work on all aspects of integrated marketing communications campaigns, including project management, media relations, corporate communication and social media. Key Responsibilities
- Support our commitment to excellent client service by assisting account leaders with all aspects of client management, including preparing meeting materials, and helping execute public relations plans.
- Research media outlets, competitor media coverage, social media activity, and other topics to support the public relations teams’ efforts; develop targeted media lists for company and client outreach.
- Seek and coordinate earned media opportunities for clients; prepare communications coaching materials as needed.
- Write first drafts of various content, including advertorials, blogs, contributed thought leadership articles, corporate communications, media pitches, news releases and social media content.
- Monitor, track and assist in reporting on the success of public relations campaigns.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in public relations or corporate communication; agency experience is preferred.
- Experience pitching media outlets for earned media coverage and interest in a wide array of public relations strategies – from media relations to crisis communication.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, including proficiency in AP Style and experience writing for social media.
- Graphic design and/or video content experience is also highly preferred.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Comfortable working with a diverse, high-profile clientele where professionalism and confidentiality are essential.
- Enthusiastic about building a leading agency with fun people who do excellent work.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
