What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist position at Paradigm?
Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist MDR to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
What You Will Do:
- You will work across teams, products & tech. You may work with products built in .NET, T-SQL, HTML, Visual Studio, CSS, C#, React, JQuery and the list goes on
- You will provide guidance and leadership project testing on new development & bug fixes.
- You will use regression testing to make sure the legacy functionality continues to work as new updates are made.
- You will provide training and mentorship on the QA team.
- You will assess the effectiveness of existing software quality assurance processes and standards, identifying gaps, and recommending changes.
- You will provide guidance and ownership of process improvement initiatives for our product, services, and customers QA needs.
- You will perform boundary testing, load testing, exploratory testing & performance testing.
- You will be responsible for maintaining test environments.
- You will be responsible for evaluating release notes & other documentation for clarity, completeness & grammatical correctness.
- You will evaluate, identify and define issues in the form of Jira & user stories.
- You will provide accurate and punctual time management and time tracking of projects.
Position Requirements:
- 6 Years of experience using automated testing tools in addition to manual testing and writing test scripts. Experience with Playwright and Postman is a plus.
- You need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
- You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile!
- You have the ability to take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $53,925 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
