Deckhand Position aboard a Commercial Catamaran

Paradise Adventures Catamaran in Panama City Beach, FL is currently seeking to hire a Deckhand that will work aboard our Catamarans and Sailing Vessel. We currently have two Commercial Catamarans that carry up to 38 guests on one and 78 guests on our largest Vessel. Our Charters include Daytime Adventure Tours, snorkeling, sunset cruises, Private Charters, dolphin tours and more. Verifiable experience on boats or customer service field is required. We have a great staff of current employees and offer a fun working environment. We are seeking a hard working individual that will fit in well with our team and is looking for a career path on the water and in the Charter Boat business.

Our boats have full bars on them, great way to get industry bartending experience, no previous bartending experience needed although its a plus.

Looking to get your captains license and need hours on the water? Crewing on our boats can work towards your captain hours.

Job Duties Include, but not Limited To:

• Must be able to perform Coast Guard drills (i.e., fire drill, man overboard drill, etc.)
• Deckhands will step in behind the bar when there is a need. The deckhand will assist the bartender with making drinks
• Deckhands will have a daily checklist that they will be required to review each day
• Deckhands must be presentable when arriving for their shift. Proper dress code is required/work attire
• The deckhand will be responsible to assist customers throughout each trip and help to provide a safe experience for our guests. Safety is our top priority!
• Deckhands will also be responsible for the presentation of the vessel. Be sure that the bathrooms are sparkling clean and stocked, no-slip or trip hazards, clean up spills and messes along the way
• Use of cellphones onboard is prohibited unless being used for a work-related purpose.
• Smoking on board the vessel of any kind including e-cigarettes and vapor is prohibited

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE A MANDATORY DRUG TEST PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK AND JOIN OUR CAMPANY DRUG TESTING FOR RANDOM DRUG TESTS.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
