Principal (Superintendent)

This incredible organization that educates youth at a critical time in their development is looking for a Principal/Superintendent. The Principal is the Superintendent of the Charter School. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to be creative in their approach to education and the business of the school. The right leader must be able to fill the role of a mentor and support the teachers at the school. Paradise Charter Middle School is a 5013c with a Board of Directors. This key leadership role is responsible for the vision and operation of the School and for managing all employees in the Charter School. The Principal/Superintendent reports to the Paradise Charter Middle School Board of Directors. Essential duties of the PCMS Leader will include, but are not limited to, the following: - Creates a positive and safe school culture and an excellent learning environment for its students. - Responsible for monitoring and mentoring, planning and evaluating while envisioning the best long- term plan for the school. - Develops and implements an accountable system for monitoring student improvement and teacher instructional practices. - Will manage and mentor each staff member to strengthen their ability to create a rich educational experience and meet each child where they are. - Responsible for the school administration and full implementation of the charter provisions - Act as Public Relations for the school; Building and maintaining strong community relationships - Will implement PCMS programs as approved by the Board of Directors - Perform other duties as assigned by the PCMS Board of Directors and/or as put forth in the Principal's job description, or PCMS Policies and Procedures Manual Paradise Charter Middle School (PCMS) is an exceptional Middle School based in Paradise, CA.
