Under the direction of the Controller the Accounts Receivable Liaison is responsible for timely and accurate billing, accounts receivable maintenance, cash receipts, general ledger reconciliation, bank reconciliations, maintenance of fixed assets, processing potential resident financial scenarios, and assisting with month-end process. The Accounts Receivable Liaison provides excellent internal and external customer service.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Posts cash receipts accurately and timely.
  • Posts adjustments when approved by the Controller.
  • Verifies general ledger balances and ensures accuracy of accounts receivable sub-ledger and associated aging reports.
  • Processes manual payroll entries and book transfers.
  • Adds/deletes fixed assets as directed by Controller.
  • Balances general ledger to sub-ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Accurately calculates and processes resident billings in a timely manner.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, resolving issues related to billing and insurance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Combination of relevant education and/or experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, asset maintenance, account reconciliations, auditing, A/R, and A/P is preferred.
