Paragon Laboratories, located in Torrance, California, is an Equal Opportunity Employer is seeking an experienced Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs on site for immediate hire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and industry leader which distributes globally.  The successful candidate must have experience in a Nutraceutical GMP regulated manufacturing environment, preferably involving tableting and encapsulation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to lead our Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Formulation functions. The role involves ensuring compliance with cGMP and other relevant regulations, authoring critical documentation such as SOPs and quality reports, technical support of customer inquiries, overseeing investigations into quality issues, and championing continuous improvement opportunities. You will drive performance improvements by working with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborating across departments to maintain inspection readiness, superior product quality, and excellent customer support. Additionally, you will manage Environmental Compliance and provide expert guidance to the Quality Control department on methods development.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline; advanced degree (master’s degree preferred.)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Nutraceuticals or comparable GMP regulated Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Deep knowledge of the manufacturing environment; with a demonstrated history of progressive growth and advancement supporting all Quality aspects of operations.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Strength in analytical chemistry and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Strong commitment to quality standards and proven management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess positive qualities of effective leadership and staff mentoring and motivation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
