This On-Site Construction Safety Manager position is part of our team at Paragon Safety Group. We are looking for a skilled professional who can oversee the safety of our projects in De Soto, KS.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate the activities of a large on-site safety team.
- Perform thorough site safety audits and compile comprehensive reports.
- Ensure that all workers adhere to strict safety protocols and follow OSHA regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to employees on safe work practices and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with contractors and project stakeholders to guarantee seamless implementation of safety procedures.
- Thoroughly investigate any safety incidents, document findings, and implement corrective measures when required.
- Deliver tailored safety orientations to new team members as needed.
- Advocate for the client's interests regarding all health and safety matters on-site.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience in managing on-site safety teams.
- A minimum of five years of experience in construction safety (mandatory).
- A valid OSHA 500/502 certification (essential).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of CHST, ASP, or CSP certification (desired).
