Job Overview:As an Exercise Specialist at Paragon Sport Spine & Wellness, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our physical therapists and patients in achieving optimal health and mobility. You will provide hands-on support for exercise routines and therapeutic activities, all while creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for our patients. This position is ideal for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in Physical & Occupational Therapy and other health care related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our physical therapists to implement customized exercise programs for patients, ensuring proper technique and alignment.
• Demonstrate world-class interpersonal skills, building rapport with patients and creating a comfortable and encouraging environment.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail when instructing patients on exercise technique, making necessary adjustments to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Adapt to the fast-paced, high-energy clinic environment, thriving in a team-oriented setting where collaboration and communication are essential.
• Embody enthusiasm and high energy to motivate and inspire patients in their rehabilitation journey.
• Ensure patient records and progress notes are accurately maintained, assisting therapists in tracking patient advancements.
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional development, actively participating in training sessions and staying informed about the latest exercise science and therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with our administrative staff to schedule patient appointments and manage clinic logistics.
• Support a positive clinic culture by contributing to a cohesive and supportive team dynamic.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., NASM, ACSM, ACE) are a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Enthusiastic personality, bringing a HIGH level of energy to the clinic environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring exercise technique and alignment are executed correctly.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and maintaining composure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, taking direction from physical therapists and incorporating feedback into your approach.
• Strong team player who actively contributes to a positive and collaborative clinic atmosphere.
• Interest in pursuing further education in Physical & Occupational Therapy, Athletic Training is a significant advantage.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
