What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at Paragon Theaters?
Paragon Theaters and Penny Lanes is a great fun family entertainment complex. With 7 theaters, 16 bowling lanes, an arcade and full-service restaurant and bar we are the spot to go for fun. We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the companies exact specifications while maintaining high standards at all times. Event Staff duties will consist of assisting with the daily tasks required to serve the bowling lanes, theaters and dining room. The successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and event/birthday party goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare for groups/parties/events
- Check-In and Check-Out Groups/Parties
- Answer, report and follow instructions
- Take care of leftover food/cake
- Be knowledgeable to party and group packages
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion and to the correct lanes
- Comply sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Prior Event Execution knowledge
- Excellent understanding of party/group procedures and packages
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Organized/Customer Service Oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Staff is required to wear a face covering during their shift. Cleaning procedures and sanitation stations are available around the building.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cary, NC 27519: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Venue & Attractions Associates: 1 year (Preferred)
