Job Description
Position Summary
As a Paragon Special Police Officer (SPO) you will observe and report activities and incidents while assigned to your work site. This includes providing for the security and safety of facilities, property and personnel.
Additionally, primary responsibilities include precluding unauthorized access to facilities, responding to unusual or emergency situations, using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol, making periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment. Lastly, duties also include preserving order and acting to enforce regulations / directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Requirements
Minimum Required Standards, Education, Licenses, Certifications :
Specific Experience Required :
Possess an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice (or 60 credit hours with 27 hours in core curriculum) from a fully accredited Institution and have been employed in the field of Criminal Justice during the past year and have the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position.
