Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control. This role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize production processes, manage a team, and enforce quality assurance measures to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Reporting Structure:This position reports directly to the CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred. * Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production management or quality control role. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * In-depth knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems (QMS). * Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to optimize production. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software. * Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation. * Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and minimizing waste. * Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. * Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address production defects or inconsistencies. * Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance production efficiency and consistency. * Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maximize performance and maintain a positive work environment. * Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure raw materials are available and production schedules are met. * Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance schedules, and recommend upgrades as necessary. * Analyze production data, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement. * Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
