Paramount Events is looking to hire a Catering Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic Off-Premise Catering sales team. This is NOT a remote role
To ensure the efficient & effective operation of the Drop Off Catering Sales Team at Paramount Events, the Catering Coordinator is responsible for sales team support through various administrative duties, to include logging & following up with inquiries, entering orders, following up on payments, assisting with deliveries as needed. The successful candidate will always provide exceptional service to their clients and work in tandem with the sales team to assist with flawless order execution. The Catering Coordinator must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be a team player with the ability to work alongside several different departments in a common commitment to achieve and exceed goals.
Responsibilities include :
- Answering phone calls / emails -provide excellent customer service by describing all catering menu items offered and accurately answered questions about menu items
- Entering and processing drop off catering orders in catering system
- Order equipment, linen and other event needs as needed
- Distribute paperwork to operations departments
- Prepare Event Manager’s binder as needed
- Business development – assist with getting new business and maintaining current business
- Work in conjunction with the drop off and operations team to ensure quality of catering orders
- Confirm catering orders to ensure that all items are prepared accurately and on a timely basis
- Conduct follow up phone calls / emails weekly to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist team with daily responsibilities to include :
- Answering Phone
- Entering & Distribution of orders
- Printing of tent cards
- Printing of boxed lunch labels
- Other tasks assigned
