Paramount Pharmacy Group, located in Piscataway, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our corporate office team. This position plays a key role in supporting pharmacy operations, assisting our pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities :
Medication Preparation : Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns in a professional manner.Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, perform regular stock audits, and use Microsoft Excel to track supplies and reorder medications as needed.Data Management & Reporting : Utilize Excel to create and maintain reports related to inventory, insurance claims, and other operational data. Analyze trends and assist in improving operational efficiency.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.Record Keeping : Maintain up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation, ensuring all transactions are logged properly.Insurance Processing : Handle insurance claims, track reimbursements, and resolve any related issues in a timely manner.Team Collaboration : Work closely with pharmacists, corporate team members, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.Safety Protocols : Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe and compliant pharmacy environment.Job Requirements :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.Certification : Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred, with an emphasis on operational support.Experience : Experience with Outcomes, Drug interactions, Billing Insurance, FTS and MTAs
Skills :
