The CBS Media Planning team is responsible for planning and scheduling marketing materials for all CBS properties, including News, Entertainment, Sports and Cross Channel. It is a great opportunity to start a career in the vast television landscape and gain experience in all facets of broadcast television.Responsibilities : Responsible for locking in daily promotion schedulesGenerate weekly news / sports / entertainment production ordersAdjust formats in scheduling softwareEnter daily promo changes in the TX promotion scheduleAssist in promo revisions dailyTrack early promo ingest needs to meet schedule deadlinesBuild templates, formats and event profiles for all CBS shows, including sporting eventsAssists other coordinators entering future promotional materials on a weekly basisProvides weekly commitment reports for news and sportsIn office commitment as part of hybrid roleStrong communication skills to liaise with other departmentsAfter hours and weekend work required for schedule changesBasic Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree1 years of equivalent work experience (Strong internship experience considered)Additional Qualifications : Windows operating systemWell organized and detail oriented.
