Qualifications of Manufacturing Plant Controller:
- 3-5 years of manufacturing cost accounting experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Or Related
- Inventory Experience, Management Experience, and Manufacturing Experience required
- Computer literate (Proficient with Word & Excel, QuickBooks)
- Experience with financial analysis, variance reporting, and standard cost accounting preferred
- Experience with corporate accounting functions highly preferred
- Experience with Plex ERP and UKG

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Plant Controller:
- Overseeing all financial activities within the manufacturing plant
- Directs financial operations, and make difficult decisions and maintains the financial health of the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
- Responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, cost analysis, and inventory controls to support strategic decision-making
- GL account reconciliations and analysis, assist with month-end close, depreciation schedules, and journal entries.
- Ensures fiscal compliance with relevant laws, regulations, etc., through appropriate policy development, training, creation and implementation of forms, or other appropriate means;
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
