What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Parenting Teens?

Performance Responsibilities:
1.To plan, organize and carry out activities related to childcare, including daily report cards.
2.To develop creativity, imagination, language and motor coordination in children following the Environmental Rating Guidelines.
3.To provide information to parents and involve them in the educational process.
4.To observe, evaluate and refer children appropriate medical or social assessments when appropriate.
5. To meet with program staff to discuss infant/toddler education and the development of short- and long- term goals for
the educational success of the child.
6.To attend professional development opportunities and assignments as assigned
through the New Bedford Public Schools.
7. To attend to all other assignments as requested.
Reports to: Program Director
Salary: $16.50-$19.50/ hour
