What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Development position at Parenting Time Center?
Make a generational difference in the Tri-State as the Director of Development for Parenting Time Center. Parenting Time Center is the only organization of its kind in the Evansville Tri-State area, serving children and families across dozens of area counties. As the Director of Development, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and leading fundraising strategies; community and volunteer engagement; internal and external communications; and acting as a spokesperson for the Parenting Time Center. Your work will enable children in challenging environments to grow and improve their relationships with their families in a safe and supportive environment that puts their long-term needs first.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
1) Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies involving individual, corporate, faith-based, civic, private, and public grants sources to ensure that Parenting Time Center programs and initiatives have adequate financial support.
2) Implementation of stewardship strategies to solicit, cultivate, and maintain relationships with donors and to ensure high levels of donor satisfaction and engagement.
3) Incorporate and ensure best-practices and processes for non-profit fundraising resource development, marketing, communications.
4) Plan and execute special events and campaigns, including coordination of logistics, volunteer recruitment, and event budget management to ensure event success and positive outcomes.
5) Additional duties which may be assigned by the Executive Director to assist in meeting the organization’s goals.
Requirements and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· Experience with nonprofit fundraising & donor cultivation
· Strategic thinking with the ability to develop, execute, and achieve organizational goals
· Excellent interpersonal skills in both written and verbal environments and the ability to work with diverse audiences
· Proficiency with common software applications such as Microsoft and Google Office suites
· Experience with common fundraising software and tools
· Problem solving approach to challenging situations and cost consciousness to work within organizational budgets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
