Working Hours: Full Time (Exempt), Monday through Friday with 2 evenings each week

Position Overview:
The Director of Quality Assurance oversees all Quality Assurance, coordinates with Senior Director of Mental Health, and works closely with Administrative Team to oversee billing and documentation, responsible for ensuring accurate and complete program participant records which include reviewing and identifying deficiencies according to Parents® Anonymous and outside regulatory bodies, monitor documentation and advise supervisor and assigned clinician as needed, compile reports, attending QA and Biller meetings, train and address parents, children and youth participant record issues, may conduct psycho-social assessments, facilitate parent groups, and evaluations as needed, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Be trained and Certified as an Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous® Adult and Children and Youth Group Facilitator.
- Design and train all direct services staff on clinical documentation and coordinate with EHR Team through Carelogic System.
- Maintain EHR coding standards for PEI and OCS budgeted LA Department of Mental Health Legal Entity funding.
- Review, monitor, provide feedback and coordinate with Electronic Health (EHR) Team to ensure accurate and timely billings through Integrated Behavioral Health Information System(IBHIS) according to Parents® Anonymous, Department of Mental Health (DMH), and other regulatory bodies, etc.
- Advise supervisor and clinician of deficiencies, monitor corrections through to completion.
- Compile reports and submit them to supervisor and clinician as required.
- Lead QA System Meetings and keep staff abreast of updates/changes.
- Identify clinician deficiencies and train staff according to quality assurance requirements and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop reports and monitor productivity with Senior Director of Mental Health and conduct Utilization Review Committee (URC) meetings.
- Monitor and track program participants’ records for discharge and completes process according to standards in coordination with the Senior Director of Mental Health.
- Participate in Parents® Anonymous, DMH, and other outside regulatory body audits.
- Track Patient’s Rights concerns prepared and forward month report to supervisor.
- Conduct Assessments including Building Family Strengths Interviews.
- Facilitate Weekly Evidence-Based Parents Anonymous® Adult Group.
- Recruit, train and manage Graduate Students for Parents Anonymous® Children and Youth Group Facilitators who will be Certified Wellness Coaches.
- Assist in other duties as required which may include working with diverse Parents, Children and Youth, data entry, filing, faxing, answering calls, etc.
- Comply with productivity standards of Parents® Anonymous.
- Maintain and complete timely supervision notes and other records.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary to fulfill agency and/or program requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or related field.
- License/Registration through California Board of Behavioral Sciences required will consider BBS registered near licensure.
- Must have 3-5 years of social work, psychology or Marriage, family therapy experience with diverse Parents, Children and Youth.
- At least one to three years related experience in mental health, compliance, case management, social services or in a human services agency, preferably in quality assurance, case management, auditing, etc.
- Must be able to provide and maintain personal vehicle insurance coverage according to Parents® Anonymous standards due to travel duties while providing client services, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and a computer (data entry) database.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
