POSITION: The Program Manager – Retail ERP
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for building relationships with business and technical teams, gathering requirements, assisting with design and testing, and managing implementation processes to deliver new business capabilities that meet the business’ needs throughout all phases of projects related to the multi-year merchandising & financial transformation (or ERP implementation) and plays a critical liaison role with several departments across the organization, including IT, Finance, Merchandising, Store Operations and others.
Tasked with driving value throughout the organization utilizing a full suite of project management activities to define and manage project scopes, involve relevant stakeholders, develop project plans, and track and communicate progress to ensure successful execution of the project. Responsible for analyzing business requirements, defining system objectives and capabilities, developing thorough functional design specifications, developing cost benefit analyses, and delivering a complete solution that meets the needs of the business.

- Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment and resources
- Work extensively with internal/external stakeholders and business process owners to coordinate end to end requirements, design, testing and deployment including change management associated with initiatives
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Establish project goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key stakeholders
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project teams, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication throughout project and program life cycle
- Provide leadership for the project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Delegate and ensure even distribution of tasks to project team members
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project
- Work with consultants, IT and business stakeholders to provide direction on work to be done, consult on the best solution and be a liaison between these groups
- Assist with analysis and strategic decision-making as needed, gain consensus among stakeholders and prepare clear, concise, and compelling presentations for project leadership
- Retail experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT/Computer Science or related field
- PMP Certification preferred
- Three to four (3-4) years of experience in project management and/or program management
- ERP implementation experience is highly preferred. Experience with Oracle is a plus
- Experience exercising initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives
- Experience in managing large and complex projects, including the ability to balance multiple initiatives and project timelines and prioritize responsibilities accordingly
- The ability to prioritize competing tasks and be comfortable moving forward a variety of projects and deliverables simultaneously with minimal direction
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and collaborate within all levels of the company
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively including proven meeting facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong sense of accountability and dependability, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Visio
