The ERP Program Manager has a critical role in overseeing and driving the success of Enterprise-wide Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation and adoption programs across the organization.
In coordination with the 3rd party integration partner, they manage all stages of the project life cycle including project initiation, scope definition, project schedule/cost, roadmaps, defining program ROIs & ensure ability to measure risk and issue management and project status reporting.
Our client is currently in the midst of a major ERP digital transformation journey called our client to the Next Stage (YNS). YNS is the single most important ERP implementation that our client has ever undertaken, considering the size, scope, cost, effort and significant impact on the business, both locally and globally. This role will be critical in executing the end-to-end implementation, ensuring business readiness, engagement, commitment and ultimately ownership of the new system.

Key Responsibilities May Include
- Aligning the vision, goals, and objectives for the ERP transformation program, with the organization’s overall strategy and business needs.
- Acting as the Program Manager on the ERP Implementation program, securing buy-in and support from other senior leaders, stakeholders and business end users and the business.
- In partnership with System Implementation partner, overseeing the program’s execution, progress, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring that the program is delivering expected benefits and outcomes.
- Working closely with other business leaders, they ensure the availability of necessary financial, human, and technological resources to support the ERP transformation program.
- Engaging and communicating with key business stakeholders, including executives, department heads, subject matter experts, end-users, and external partners, to ensure their involvement, support, and alignment throughout the program.
- Identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact the success of the ERP transformation program, ensuring appropriate risk management strategies are in place and adhered to.
- Supporting organizational change management efforts, including communication, training, and adoption strategies, to ensure smooth transition and acceptance of the new ERP system.
- Making critical decisions related to the ERP Implementation program, including scope changes, budget approvals, and issue resolution, in collaboration with the program team and relevant stakeholders in U.S. and Japan.
- Promoting the YNS guiding principles of simplification and standardization, while championing with ISD to show justification to Japan project leads on critical local modifications where absolutely necessary.
- Proven track record in successfully revitalizing and recovering projects that are off-track or facing significant challenges
- Leadership experience and ability to manage a full end to end, complex multi-year ERP program (not only a particular track) and be responsible for internal deliverables.
- 10 or more years of ERP / Project Management work experience including design and deployment of business information systems.
- 10 years’ experience with SAP S4/Hana.
- Experience with SAP Implementation methodology a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing diverse project teams in a global environment. Understanding and respecting different communication styles, work ethics, and decision-making processes are key components of this skill.Self-motivated and results oriented mind set to drive success.
- The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies and still work effectively within those constraints.
- The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected processes and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
- Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives, with demonstrated successful outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations, in both local and global settings
- The ability to function as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery.
