Key responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Director of Construction Administration and Construction Administrator
- Answer general phone inquiries and reply to general information requests
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, contracts, and documents for company projects
- Process and file construction contract information (RFIs, PCOs, Estimates, etc.) in accordance with PSA standards
- Coordinate with PSA project teams and CA team on schedule creation and management for meetings, site visits, and QAQC operations
- Coordinate with Director of CA and Construction Administrator to manage the CA activity logs
- Learn the CA management software system (Fieldwire) to upload plans and documents
- Learn the skills to become competent to observe and record field conditions and construction progress on project sites across a broad geographical area
- Acquire and develop skills and knowledge
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, College preferred
- Understanding of construction related policies and procedures
- Understanding of architectural plans and specifications
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate Microsoft office products
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to create and maintain detailed records
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to get to and from worksites reliably
- Able to navigate physically demanding worksites safely and readily (climbing, crawling, avoiding obstructions)
- Expectation to work flexible hours including afterhours/2nd shift site visits
- Able to climb a ladder safely and readily to a height of 20 feet
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
