POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Assistant is an integral part of the marketing department who diligently assists the Marketing & Proposal Manager with day-to-day marketing tasks. This individual will be process focused, delivering high quality deliverables, and someone who will be responsible for communicating with all PSA employees. The Marketing Assistant will gain hands on experience, and contribute to the continued success of PSA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist with marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs
● Participation in the packaging of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) & Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and various bid opportunities
● Create & maintain proposal materials such as employee resumes & project information sheets
● Keep track of ongoing projects and template documents
● Assist with marketing and advertising promotional activities
● Help with planning and organizing marketing events
● Assist with scheduling all marketing related matters
● As needed, communicate and coordinate with clients
● Communicate frequently to relevant parties and support other channels to ensure tasks are completed
● Assist in updating database content on our website
● Populate and maintain Proposal Tracking Sheet
● Project Photography & Postproduction (editing, coordinating time for site visit)
● Coordinate and maintain PSA checklists based upon provided feedback
● Ordering, coordinating, and maintaining inventory of PSA branded materials.
● Assist with tradeshow collateral (name badges, hotel reservations, assisting compiling all details for show, assist with booth creation, advertising materials)
● Coordinating coverage for Monthly ASBO meetings
● Perform related administrative duties as necessary and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERENCE, & CORE COMPETENCIES
● Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field is preferred
● 0-2 years of office experience
● Proficient with Adobe creative suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
● Proficient with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
● Knowledge of and ability to navigate Microsoft office and Google products
● Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent time management and organizational skills
● Able to work both independently and collaboratively
